I love that Pure Bounce is a workout that is unique, fun and energetic – you totally get lost in the movements and music and don’t even realise how hard you are working! It’s by far my favourite class to choreograph and teach!
WHAT MAKES PURE HEALTH’S BOUNCE CLASSES UNIQUE COMPARED TO OTHERS?
Pure Bounce is unique as it offers clients a high intensity cardio workout without the impact. It’s a full body workout, toning legs and glutes, working the upper body and – of course – the abdominals. Not to mention it’s FUN!
UNLIKE MANY STUDIOS, YOU’VE GOT YOUR OWN PERSONALISED PLAYLIST FOR THE BOUNCE CLASSES – WHICH SONG REALLY PUMPS YOU UP?
That’s a tough question – so hard to choose just one track! I love to use a range of music in classes – I think the right music makes all the difference to the energy in a class. I’d have to say one of my fave pump up tracks is“Watch out for this (Bumaye)” by Major Lazer feat. Busy Signal. I love to speed the tempo right up!
HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT PURE HEALTH, AND WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING THERE?
I originally came to Pure with a friend many years ago to try a class. I was instantly blown away by the innovative classes – they were so unique and the range was so extensive. There are so many reasons i love working here! I love the way Pure approaches exercise (we believe physical activity is the baseline for ensuring a healthy body and mind); we believe in mindful movement and making exercise enjoyable. Pure is a club where everyone is welcome – all ages, all fitness levels – and we strive to make it an environment you want to spend time in. Going to the gym should not be a chore!
As an instructor there is something so special and rewarding about motivating members to achieve their health and fitness goals and to help them to experience the enjoyment of exercise.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT PURE HEALTH?
I have been working at Pure across all three studios for over 3 years and I love teaching classes here more and more everyday!
