Jas Rawlinson is an Australian Author & Freelance Journalist with a passion for social justice, and giving a voice to those who need it most–particularly domestic violence and human trafficking survivors. She has spent time with sex trafficking survivors in Thailand, and run fundraisers to support anti-trafficking organisations. In 2016, she co-founded Brisbane’s first domestic violence memorial for male and female victims/survivors.
Since 2012, Jas has written and campaigned with many different women’s organisations, and has had her work mentioned by Brisbane Times, Australian Regional Media, Gladstone Observer, Daily Life, Daily Mail, Cosmopolitan, The Courier Mail and Newscorp. In late 2016 she was invited to write the foreword for a domestic violence book titled ‘Memoirs To My Younger Self,’ and is releasing her first book (‘Reasons To Live One More Day, Every Day’) in late 2017.
