Jas Rawlinson is an Australian writer, freelance journalist, and author. With a passion for important social issues, she has spent time with sex trafficking survivors in Thailand, run fundraisers to support anti-trafficking organisations, and in 2016, co-founded Brisbane’s first domestic violence memorial for male and female victims/survivors.
As well as authoring a chapter for the book ‘Memoirs To My Younger Self,’ she is also the author of the book 'Reasons To Live One More Day, Every Day'-- a collection of memoirs from inspirational Australians who have triumphed over mental health issues.
Well regarded for her ethical and empathetic journalism when broaching sensitive topics, Jas is passionate about changing her community through the power of words, and has been published across international and national media networks.
