WHAT’S YOUR REASON TO LIVE?
If you’ve ever wanted to write and publish your own story, but don’t know where to start, this email is for you!
It’s easy to make people think your life is perfect…
A few #bodygoals or #blessed hashtags, and a picture you living your ‘best life’ on some beach in Bali, and people can be fooled into thinking you’ve got your shit together, right?
But we all know that’s not our reality 24/7…and it’s much harder to admit that you’re actually struggling.
…That you’re currently battling a horrific eating disorder, or checking into rehab again for an alcohol addiction.
…That your ‘perfect’ relationship has actually broken down, and you’ve got no idea how to make it through the next day, let alone the rest of your life.
….That you’ve attempted suicide, and today is the anniversary of your last attempt — but who the hell do you talk to about something like that?
I mean, it’s way easier to gloss right over all of that with an Instagram filter, right?
But how does ‘hiding’ our life from others make things better?
This was my reason for writing Reasons to Live One More Day, Every Day; to show each and every person reading that there is strength in our vulnerability and no shame in speaking out. We all go through darkness, but hiding away only makes things worse.

Since its release in 2017, Reasons to Live has touched the hearts of many around the world (from Scotland and Sussex, to Canada, California, Georgia, and Australia) and inspired countless men and women to keep pushing through the darkness. Even Kevin Hines (Filmmaker & Suicide Survivor) has a copy of the book!
It was an incredible journey, and my favourite part of this process was being blessed with the honour of listening to and coaching so many people (from international best-selling authors, to circus performers, musicians, and everyday inspiring community advocates) in the art of how to write their stories in a positive and empowering way, and to celebrate their triumphs with them.
Some of the most common phrases I’ve heard from people over the last year has been, ‘I wish I could write my story…’, or ‘I know I have a message to share, but I wouldn’t know where to start,’ and ‘I just don’t have the time to do it on my own…’
Does this resonate with you? If so, I have exciting news! Get ready…

After many requests, YES, I will be creating a second volume of ‘Reasons to Live,’ and I’m now accepting global applications for 15 people to work with me and take part in my writing mentorship packages! (View my packages here)
If selected, we’ll work together one-on-one to unleash your vision and craft your life story of triumph over adversity into a 2000 word memoir. Throughout each step of the journey, I’ll be there to guide you through the process and help you create a powerful, beautiful, and inspiring chapter true to your life story. It will then be published (at zero cost to you) through an award-winning publisher and immortalised forever in Reasons to Live Volume 2.
Make 2019 your year to shine. Your voice matters, and it’s time others heard it!
(And what better gift to give a budding writer for Christmas, or to suggest to a family member for yourself?)
